Drink in the atmosphere of rural Dorset
Since the 17th century, The White Hart pub has provided a focus for the community of Bishops Caundle – a small thriving village in West Dorset, close to the historic market towns of Sherborne and Sturminster Newton.
Our award-winning, family-friendly, traditional village pub offers a warm welcome to locals and visitors to the region.
Freshly-prepared pub food
Enjoy our lovingly-prepared pub meals, cooked to order – from light snacks to wholesome meals, including homemade specials, Fish Fridays and Sunday roasts.
If you’re in the mood for a pie, you need to try our homemade steak & kidney pie with shortcrust pastry!
Vegetarian options are available too.
We have a tempting range of homemade delicious desserts.
